Love in Spring (summer in this case)

Over at Kit and Clowder's facebook page, Aylce is holding a coloring challenge using Chin-Chou Kuik's digi stamp called "Love in Spring." The challenge is to pick your favorite season and color her up with that season in mind. I chose to color a summer scene. It's hard to tell in this photo but the wings and flower centers have clear wink of stella on them for simmer.

I'm also entering this over at Tuesday Morning Sketches #310 as I used their design for this card.

Sassy Design Studio July Progressive Challenge

Today I'm sharing the card I created for the Sassy Studio Designs Progressive Challenge for July which is held on their facebook group. If you join the group, purchase the first month image and play along the following months you will receive the image for the challenger for FREE! This is my second free image. I love these images and just have to play along.

I'm also entering this card @
Crafty Gals - to die for (Stitched Rectangles and the heart)
Creative Moments Bingo (Glitter, Charm, Image)

My good friend Annie and her husband Chris just celebrate their anniversary. We are getting together to have a little play date with the kids on Monday. She's a die hard twilight fan. One year we were at a scrapbook retreat when the movie came out. She wanted to see it so bad on opening night. We got tickets and left the retreat for a bit. It was so much fun to have girl movie time.

A close up of the sweet heart with an arrow.

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my little corner of crafting. If you leave a comment or follow my blog I promise to do the same for you.

Cuckoo Clock

I'm pretty stocked to finally have this project completed and crossed off my to do list. It has been on the white board since Christmas I'm sure. I purchased the svg file from DigiPlayground.

The hardest part of this project was choosing which papers to use. I knew I wanted to use BoBunny Enchanted Forest but which paper for which piece of the clock...

After making the final choices we got to cutting. My girl loves to help load and unload the mats into the Explore. We had 11 mats running for this project. And as you might know about crafting sometimes there's errors. I didn't take the clock arms into account when sizing this project and ended up with a very small clock.

Totally fixable though, just pick another clock face in Design Space and cut again.

Here is our final clock that will hang in my craft area.

I will be entering this to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge (Summer) Birds chirping, white picket fences is summery right? And also Colour Me...Striking! (Barmuda Bay and Marina Mist)

My cute little helper!

dancing birthday

After I week and some of camping with friends, I am in my craft space for the day. Letting the kids play with their toys, color or craft. It is a free day of just chilling.

I've done another birthday card for my stash. This little dancer is a freebie over at All Dressed Up. Colored her with Copics, used paper from American Crafts (Amy Tangerine) and Recollections (Brights) with a white card base. Sentiment is from Unity Stamps. Added a flower with stickles and a flamingo dot in the center.

I'm entering it at:

Candle

This card is for my Christmas stash of cards. I used a digital stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, a sketch from Sketch Saturday. I am also entering this over at Merry Monday (candle), Christmas cards all year long (strips and dots: the base layer is strips and the holly is my dots) and Fantabulous Cricut. (anything goes)  I used my cricut to cut out the digital stamp after I uploaded it into design space, cut a few basic shape squares and used my new cricut pens to write the Merry Christmas with the 0.03 tip in black. The candle is colored with copics, gold wink of stella brush and yellow stickles.
